How did Lead Cadence get its name?

People have started asking me where did I get the name LeadCadence for this company. When I started thinking about how was I going to name my company for the products and services that I offer, a couple of things came to mind.

One, I wanted to focus on what’s the benefit that the customer’s going to receive. First of all we’re all about generating leads. We want to bring more people to your website via SEO, PaperClick, Facebook ads, all those services we offer. We want to do it in a consistent, predictable, steady way.

I started thinking, there are leads and then we need a predictable steady way to be able to do that and to describe that process. When I started thinking about how do we describe that, one of the words that is important to me as a cyclist is cadence. Cadence in the cycling world means rhythm or the speed at which you’re pedaling. Keeping a high cadence, consistent pedaling rate means that you’re going to be able to sustain longer throughout the race.

Joining those two together, we have leads and we have a consistent rhythm of bringing those leads to the website, delivering those to the customer. I felt like those two things together were really what described what I did and was a little bit of what’s important to me and what I like doing outside of work. When we merged those two together we got LeadCadence.
